Someday, Maybe Someday
Someday, maybe someday, we’ll sit on a quiet island, just you and me, as the clouds drift lazily overhead. We won’t say much, but we’ll hold each other’s hands and giggle for a while—for no reason, really. We’ll stare at the water or maybe the sky, whispering under our breaths how blessed we are to have each other. To really have each other.
We might sing afterward—a little Jon Bellion, some Vance Joy. And even if we scream the lyrics to your favorite, Summertime Sadness by Lana, we’ll still tell each other that we’re going nowhere.
Then, we’ll sit in silence again. No rush, no noise—just the warmth of your presence and the peaceful certainty that, in that moment, nothing else matters.
